El estudio analiza la percepción de tutores de perros sobre la eficacia de las terapias alternativas, acupuntura y fisioterapia, aplicadas a canes con problemas de movilidad. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo con una muestra final de 133 encuestas válidas. El instrumento se validó mediante el coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach (α = 0.7). La fisioterapia fue la técnica más utilizada (67.7%) y los tutores mostraron un alto nivel de satisfacción, destacando satisfecho (44.4%) como la respuesta más frecuente. Además, el 51.9% de los tutores calificaron como muy satisfecho el impacto de estas terapias sobre la calidad de vida de sus mascotas. Los resultados respaldan la efectividad de estas prácticas integrativas desde la perspectiva del cuidador, lo que sugiere su utilidad como complemento en la medicina veterinaria tradicional.
