AbstrakInfeksi saluran pernapasan akut (ISPA) disebabkan oleh virus atau bakteri. Perilaku hidup bersihsehat adalah sekumpulan perilaku yang dipraktikkan atas dasar kesadaran agar seseorang atau keluargaberperan aktif dalam mewujudkan kesehatan masyarakat. PHBS yang tidak diterapkan dalam keluarga,akan cenderung memiliki anak dengan kesehatan yang tidak baik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahuihubungan Pola Hidup Bersih Sehat (PHBS) keluarga dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita di Desa SedayuKecamatan Jumantono Kabupaten Karangnyar. Penelitian ini menggunakan analitik korelasi denganpendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian yaitu 259 ibu yang memiliki balita menerapkanteknik random sampling menggunakan rumus slovin didapatkan 158 responden. Hasil analisis yangdidapatkan 118 balita (74.7%) mengalami ISPA dan 81 responden (51.3%) dengan PHBS kategoricukup. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi square didapatkan hasil p-value adalah 0.002, yang artinyap-value < α (0.002 < 0.05) maka Ho ditolak dan Hα diterima, yang berarti ada hubungan pola hidupbersih sehat keluarga dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita di Desa Sedayu.Kata kunci: PHBS, ISPA, balitaThe Relationship of Family Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS) to the Incident ofAcute Respiratory Infection (ARI) on Toddlers at Sedayu VillageAbstractAcute respiratory infection (ARI) is caused by virus or bacteria. The prevalence of ARI in Indonesiain the five highest provinces in 2020, namely: West Nusa Tenggara 6.38%, Kep. Bangka Belitung 6.05%,South Kalimantan 5.53%, Central Sulawesi 5.19%, and West Java 4.62%, while Central Java Province3.61% cases. Clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS) that is not implemented in the family will tend tohave children with poor health condition. This study was aiming to determine the relationship betweenfamily Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS) with the incidence of acute respiratory infection (ARI) onchildren under five at Sedayu Village, Jumantono District, Karangnyar Regency. This research appliedcorrelation analytic with cross sectional approach. The population in the study were 259 motherswho have toddlers; by applying random sampling technique using Slovin formula was obtained 158respondents. The results of the analysis obtained that 118 children under five (74.7%) experienced ARIand 81 respondents (51.3%) practiced PHBS in the sufficient category. The data were analyzed usingthe chi square test, the p-value was 0.002, which means that the p-value < 0.05 (0.002 < 0.05) then HOwas rejected and Hα was accepted, which means that there is a relationship between clean and healthyfamily lifestyle with the incidence of acute respiratory infection on children under five at Sedayu Village.Keywords: Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS), acute respiratory infection (ARI), toddler
