Cultural Values Role in Acceptance of AI Supervision

Abstract
This study explores the role of cultural values in the acceptance of AI supervision. We examine how cultural dimensions such as power distance, uncertainty avoidance, collectivism, long-term orientation, and masculinity influence preferences for different AI supervisory styles (Maestro, Manager, Leader, and Producer). Additionally, we investigate how personality traits moderate these relationships. Our findings indicate significant cultural influences on AI supervision acceptance, with personality traits further moderating these effects. These results have far-reaching implications for the integration of AI in organizational leadership, emphasizing the need for culturally sensitive AI systems that balance efficiency with human-centric qualities.
