Abstract
Last year, at Academy of Management, we made an effort to expand discussion and knowledge utilizing Tales from the Script from the DEI (Diversity Equity and Inclusion) division as a framework. This effort is comprised of a session that includes a conversation between junior scholars and authors of research on female sponsorship and derailment. We intend to build on this work and discuss some key components of derailment like resource scarcity, competition, and diversity climate.
