Translator Les étudiants n’ont pas tous les mêmes opportunités pour apprendre à connaître et à utiliser les styles bibliographiques que ce soit en lien avec les domaines d’études, la langue d’études ou les régions où l’étudiant effectue ses études. Dans ce contexte, les résultats d'une étude comparative internationale à un questionnaire indiquent que la grande majorité des étudiants considèrent important de maîtriser les styles bibliographiques dès leur entrée à l’université. Les étudiants de certains domaines d’études sont moins formés en matière d’utilisation des styles bibliographiques et il en va de même pour les étudiants dont la langue d’études n’est pas leur langue maternelle et les étudiants de l’Europe. Ces résultats suggèrent de renforcer les mesures de soutien auprès des étudiants, notamment par une meilleure visibilité des services de la bibliothèque.
