Abstract
Ahmet Mantaş tarafından kaleme alınan "Çanakkaleli Ressamlar", 1800-2003 yılları arasında Çanakkale'de doğmuş ve Türk resim sanatına katkıda bulunmuş sanatçıları derinlemesine inceleyen kapsamlı bir eserdir. Kitap, Cumhuriyet öncesi dönemin asker ressamlarından, Cumhuriyet sonrasının modern ve çağdaş temsilcilerine kadar uzanan geniş bir yelpazedeki sanatçıların yaşam öykülerine, sanat anlayışlarına ve eserlerine ışık tutmaktadır. Çanakkale'nin kültürel ve tarihsel altyapısının da irdelendiği bu çalışma, içerdiği detaylı sanatçı biyografileri ve eser kataloğu ile hem yerel kültür tarihi hem de Türk sanat tarihi literatürü için önemli bir başvuru kaynağı niteliğindedir.
