The full Italian text of both editions of Vasari's Lives can be found in Paola Barocchi and Rosanna Bettarini (eds), Le Vite de’ più eccellenti pittori, scultori e architetti nelle redazioni del 1550 e del 1568, 6 vols, Florence: Sansoni, 1966–87. There are numerous selections from the Lives in English translation. The one cited here is the 4 volume Everyman edition (London and Toronto: Dent, 1927) translated by A. B. Hinds – one of the more complete translations, although omitting the dedicatory letters, ‘Proemio’ and technical introduction.
