Le nietzschéisme français a tenté d’extirper Nietzsche de sa reprise fasciste à force de lissage et de dépolitisation. Sans l’anoblissement français de cette figure placée sous haute suspicion outre-Rhin, Peter Sloterdijk aurait pu difficilement révolutionner le canon des auteurs légitimes dans le contexte allemand. Notre article montre d’abord, en s’appuyant sur les travaux de Ronald Beiner et Domenico Losurdo, que la dépolitisation excessive de Nietzsche par la main du nietzschéisme français n’a pas survécu à l’épreuve du temps et à la réémergence du code politique réactionnaire inscrit dans l’œuvre. Puis, il reconstitue les linéaments de ce projet politique tel qu’il se perpétue chez Sloterdijk, de la reprise stylistique et caustique aux calques politiques et sinistres.
