Abstract
The need of making wind farms more efficient demands the assessments of new concepts, bringing these to the demonstration level. This chapter targets more specifically floating wind farms of Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWTs). These wind farms are specifically suitable for harvesting wind energy at deep-sea waters, the next frontier of offshore wind farms. The chapter describes the new concept of making clusters of three VAWTs to increase the overall average power output of wind farms. The cluster topology concept takes advantage of the acceleration of the flow observed through the gap between closely spaced turbines (“funneling” effect). The concept also involves the adoption of active blade pitch control strategies to both generate wakes deflections, optimizing the “funneling” effect (collective and cyclic control), and improve structural fatigue life using the higher-harmonic control technique for mitigating blade high dynamic response due to the aeroelastic effects.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from it
