Dans une optique à la fois intermédiatique et interculturelle, Le Théâtre à (re) découvrir réunit une trentaine d'études consacrées aux dramaturgies peu connues. Les textes rassemblés dans les deux volumes du Théâtre à (re)découvir, écrits dans le cadre d'un vaste projet de recherche portant sur les dramaturgies et les théories théâtrales peu connues, présentent tout un éventail d'oeuvres et d'auteurs français, italiens, belges, allemands, polonais, norvégiens, québécois et latino-américains qui méritent d'être (re)visités. Pièces, dramaturges, penseurs et phénomènes artistiques sont traités ici dans une double optique : celle des interférences entre les médias (théâtre, cinéma, danse, image, mime, philosophie...) et celle d'une exploration culturelle, souvent interculturelle, orientée vers les pistes et les terrains peu fréquentés par le grand public. L' éditeur Witold Wołowski est professeur à la KUL (Pologne). Domaines de recherche : théorie du texte dramatique et du spectacle théâtral, théâtre francophone, italophone, poésie polonaise.
