Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

A novel cobalt dodecaborate {Co 3 (H 2 O) 3 } 2 B 12 O 24 ( 1 ) was first made under solvothermal conditions. It is a 3D neutral framework built by the sandwiched {B 12 O 24 }@{Co 3 (H 2 O) 3 } 2 cluster, in which a crown-like B 12 O 24 ({B 12 }) cluster is capped by two Co 3 O 6 (H 2 O) 3 ({Co 3 }) units. The trinuclear {Co 3 } cluster is first found in borates. Due to the aggregation of Co 2+ with a d–d transition, 1 has a broad absorption band from visible to near-infrared (NIR) regions. Photothermal conversion tests reveal that 1 exhibits promising photothermal conversion efficiency (27.3%) under the irradiation of a 1064 nm NIR light, furthermore with excellent cyclic stability. This work represents the first investigation of photothermal conversion performances in crystalline borates, highlighting the potential of borate-based materials for photothermal conversion applications.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
