Abstract
El conflicto sirio ha sido mediatizado a través de las redes sociales, configurando narrativas visuales que influyen tanto en las dinámicas internas como en las percepciones internacionales. El régimen de Bashar Al-Asad, los grupos opositores y las potencias externas han aprovechado estas plataformas para construir narrativas ideológicas, difundir propaganda y movilizar audiencias globales. Desde el enfoque de la Escuela de París, que destaca las interacciones entre semiótica y cultura, este estudio analiza cómo las imágenes y videos construyen representaciones de poder, violencia y resistencia. Desde la perspectiva de la Escuela de Toronto, se examina cómo las redes sociales redefinen la esfera pública y descentralizan la información en una era de posverdad. Así, las redes sociales cumplen un doble rol: posibilitar la resistencia y reforzar el control narrativo, configurando una "cultura visual del conflicto."
