Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract The wellbeing of health care providers, educators, and learners is considered essential for high-quality healthcare and high-quality medical education. This chapter describes (1) the context of healthcare and medical education including challenges and the future state, (2) what distinguishes mentorship from coaching, as coaching is the prevalent mode of interaction between faculty supervisors and learners for acquisition of competence, while mentorship is utilized for a broader purpose, (3) our strategic approach to mentorship including a systems perspective and work at the individual level, (4) details of systems-level work (mentorship of educational leaders, administrators, and learners), including the role of the Resident Resource Office, and (5) correlation with and impact of mentorship on wellbeing using data from studies and surveys conducted over the last few years on learning environment, resilience and wellbeing. The findings, including “what works,” offer suggestions and solutions on utilizing mentorship to enhance wellbeing in different domains.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
