Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The process of responding to ambiguity and suffering, while tension filled, invites the re-examination of curricular and policy priorities, particularly in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Positioning curricular outcomes and standardized tests as the arbiters of educational achievement occludes deeper questions of life and the dwelling needed on curricular and pedagogical sites to support balance and wellness amongst young people. While preparing youth to enter the labor force is certainly essential, there remains a disparity in attending to that which inspires life to continue and restore life to its original difficulty. This chapter draws upon Maulana Rumi’s example and poems “You and I,” “Pain,” and “Birdwings” as sources of guidance that can inspire youth to reconnect with their embodied knowledge, subjective truths, and welcome arduous circumstances as gifts of providence and mercy.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
