Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

An individual's ability to evaluate their own work as well as peers' work is a vital skill in engineering in general and in software engineering in particular. More importantly, the ability to identify action items for future improvements based on that evaluation is essential for continuous improvement efforts. This study is based on students submissions for a software engineering project course that was set-up as a Scrum project that had two releases each of them consists of two sprints. The students were asked to reflect on thier teamwork skills and conduct self and peer assessment at the mid-point of the project after the first release and set goals for improvement based on that reflection. Qualitiative analysis was conducted on the goals set by the students revealed different approaches that students take when setting their improvement goals. Recommendations to help prepare students for such activities in the future based on the analysis are provided.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
