Abstract
Situé dans le coeur culturel du centre-ville de Téhéran, le parc Daneshjoo sert de refuge aux minorités sexuelles et de genre qui y maintiennent une présence discrète et s’y expriment clandestinement en se promenant parmi les arbres et les buissons du parc. Simultanément, les autorités de Téhéran ont imposé des restrictions croissantes pour contrôler et effacer la présence des corps trans et queers dans le parc et ses environs. En examinant les modes par lesquels les queers du parc Daneshjoo naviguent dans l’espace public (et au travers des restrictions qui y sont imposées), cet article met en lumière l’opacité stratégique et la présence discrète qui soutiennent les personnes queers iraniennes. Il est également question de la représentation des individus queers dans l’art pour mieux exposer la difficile tâche des artistes cherchant à affirmer la présence insaisissable des queers en Iran.
