Cet article propose une première analyse de la norme volontaire CAN/HSO 11012:2018 - Accès aux services de santé et aux services sociaux dans les langues officielles, encore largement méconnue dans les milieux juridiques et de la santé. Il retrace les étapes de son développement, ses modalités de mise en œuvre –notamment par l’entremise du Programme de reconnaissance des langues officielles d’Agrément Canada–, ainsi que sa structure et son contenu prescriptif. Adoptant une perspective fondée sur le pluralisme normatif, l’article situe cette norme au sein d’un écosystème fragmenté et multiscalaire de la régulation des services de santé en français au Canada. Il examine son potentiel structurant pour renforcer l’offre active auprès des communautés francophones en situation minoritaire, tout en mettant en lumière les limites inhérentes à son statut volontaire. Cette norme témoigne d’un tournant vers une régulation plus privatisée et collaborative dans laquelle les institutions de santé deviennent elles-mêmes actrices de la production et de la mise en œuvre des normes en matière d’équité linguistique.
