Phase Center Variation of a Controlled Radiation Pattern Antenna: Implications of Null Placement on Positioning Errors
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Phase center offset (PCO) and phase center variation (PCV) are critical parameters in Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) performance of controlled reception pattern antennas (CRPAs) when used for precision applications. This paper investigates the dynamic nature of the CRPA's phase center under null steering conditions and its implications on positioning accuracy. Two perspectives are explored: (1) the movement of the PCO relative to its nominal position without null-steering, and (2) the increase in PCV during null-steering, and its expected implications on precise positioning. This study highlights the impact of null placement on phase center dynamics, as well as how this translates to positioning errors when using CRPAs.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
