Abstract
Los poemas que se presentan son una muestra, seleccionada por el autor, de sus últimos cinco libros publicados, a saber: Vanitas, Vigilia, Secuencias, Elegías de labrador y Gin Tonic. Los dos primeros fueron escritos durante la pandemia del Covid-19 y pueden leerse como un testimonio de la angustia y dolor generados durante ese aciago período. El tercero es un texto que se adentra en la crisis de la posmodernidad y de sus discursos con un lenguaje disruptivo cercano al cinematográfico. Y los dos últimos, como sus nombres lo sugieren, son poemarios elegíacos sobre la “noche oscura del alma”, cuando el amor se rompe o no es suficiente para los amantes o para la humanidad en general.
