L’alerte éthique entre théories et pratiques : une perspective française

Abstract
Cet article analyse, de manière historique et pluridisciplinaire, les recherches produites en France sur l’alerte éthique en entreprise sur une période de 50 ans (1970-2021). Pour ce faire, nous avons construit un corpus de publications et repéré les problématiques prédominantes ainsi que les enjeux spécifiques des recherches consacrées aux alertes. Nous montrons que l’acte d’alerter depuis l’entreprise reste paradoxal en France. Il est perçu, selon les acteurs, comme quasi héroïque à forte valeur éthique ou comme infamant assorti de représailles. Les débats et les réflexes culturels distincts sont convoqués pour pointer les particularités françaises. Nous concluons sur l’intérêt d’un futur programme de recherche pluridisciplinaire et international afin de dépasser les tensions nées de l’alerte, tant pour le lanceur d’alerte que pour l’organisation qui en est l’objet.
