Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Bizarre Love Triangle is a surrealist queer romance about love, loss, and the simple pleasures of sharing your body with others. After Ralph, a queer vagabond, has a passionate one-night stand with Charlie, a closeted bartender, he awakens to unexpected feelings: a desire to build a relationship with Charlie, and the ghost of Charlie’s impulsive wife, Rose, possessing his body. As the ménage sketches out the bounds of their unconventional romance arrangement, they begin to struggle to contain the inherent messiness of loving another. In the accompanying Creative Reflection and Contextualization Paper, the author examines the process of writing Bizarre Love Triangle as an experience of creative self-discovery. He recalls how his personal experience with nonmonogamy acted as a source of inspiration, contemplates the difficulty of sustaining creative motivation while working full-time, and challenges his own perfectionistic approach to artmaking in favour of a process that prioritizes self-care.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
