Prevalensi quarter life crisis di kalangan mahasiswa yang tinggi menjadi masalah di Indonesia. Mahasiswa yang berada dalam fase quarter life crisis kerap mengalami kecemasan yang tinggi akibat ekspektasi lingkungan, tekanan akademik, serta ketidakpastian terkait masa depan karier dan relasi personal (Arnett, 2015). Maka, pentingnya penanganan kecemasan secara efektif menjadi urgensi dilakukan penelitian ini. Pada penelitian sebelumnya group therapy terbukti efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan pada dewasa awal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitas group therapy dalam menurunkan kecemasan mahasiswa yang sedang mengalami quarter life crisis. Metode penelitian menggunakan mix method yaitu pendekatan yang menggabungkan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Metode kuantitatif menggunakan single-case design A-B-A dan melibatkan enam mahasiswa yang sedang mengalami quarter life crisis. Seluruh responden diberikan pretest dan posttest berupa State Anxiety Inventory (S-AI) untuk mengukur penurunan tingkat kecemasan mereka setelah diberikan group therapy sebanyak delapan sesi. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah group therapy efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa yang mengalami quarter life crisis. Hasil dari studi ini menunjukan group therapy efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa yang mengalami quarter life crisis. Implikasi studi ini terhadap pengembangan group therapy didiskusikan lebih lanjut.
