Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The solution of large, sparse systems of linear equations is an inherent part of many computational
\nmethods in science and engineering. For such systems, iterative methods are often more attractive
\nthan direct methods because of their small (and constant) memory requirements. Also, the performance of
\niterative solvers can easily be improved by using distributed systems. A common performance characteristic
\nof distributed applications is their speedup which is usually defined as the ratio of the execution time of an
\napplication on a single processor to the execution time of the same workload on a
\nP–processor system. The
\npaper estimates the speedup of distributed linear iterative solvers, analyzes the influence of different communication
\nschemes on the speedup, and compares the estimates with the measurements of real distributed
\nprograms.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
