Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This paper is covering the commencement of the operation of the all-electronic-toll Port Mann bridge in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Vancouver British Columbia's splendid new Port Mann Bridge opened to traffic December 1, and began collecting tolls December 8 2012. This paper provides insights on the launching of the All Electronic Tolling operation of this major project in British Columbia (Canada), with a description of the operation preparation strategy managed by TI CORP (public agency concessionaire of the Bridge), and TC-Flow (operator in charge of infrastructure and customer management).

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
