Abstract
Les textes presentes ici ont ete d'abord prepares pour un colloque qui s'est tenu en 2003 a l'Universite de Provence sur le theme La langue des litteratures antillaise, quebecoise et reunionnaise : questions autour du dialogue et de la narration . Revus, developpes, harmonises, avec l'objectif de toucher un public plus large, ils permettent d'offrir aujourd'hui cet ouvrage, fruit d'une collaboration entre des chercheurs de diverses universites (France, USA, Quebec). L'ensemble represente une approche interdisciplinaire particulierement significative pour la question des rapports entre langue et identite narrative. Les litteratures francophones qui servent ici de support aux analyses sont bien evidemment le point de convergence de recherches de specialistes de linguistique et de litterature. A un titre ou a un autre, les 'uvres examinees marquent l'appartenance de leurs auteurs (Franketienne, Patrick Chamoiseau, Michel Tremblay, pour n'en citer que quelques-uns) a cet ailleurs francophone par l'usage de formes et de procedes linguistiques qui renvoient aux realites orales des langues (creoles et/ou francais) en usage dans les aires geographiques retenues.
