This article examines the Can-Am Spyder, a new vehicle manufactured by Bombardier Recreational Products. The Can-Am, part of BRP's line of all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), has continued to gain popularity in Canada since its roll-out in 2007. The author examines the vehicle design and performance of the Can-Am's two models, the RS (sport) and the RT (touring) models. Its performance on dry asphalt braking and acceleration testing conducted in Toronto is highlighted.
