Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

We present a search for the standard model (SM) Higgs boson produced in association with a $Z$ boson in $9.7\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ of $p\overline{p}$ collisions collected with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider at $\sqrt{s}=1.96\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{TeV}$. Selected events contain one reconstructed $Z\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ or $Z\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ candidate and at least two jets, including at least one jet identified as likely to contain a $b$ quark. To validate the search procedure, we also measure the cross section for $ZZ$ production in the same final state. It is found to be consistent with its SM prediction. We set upper limits on the $ZH$ production cross section times branching ratio for $H\ensuremath{\rightarrow}b\overline{b}$ at the 95% C.L. for Higgs boson masses $90\ensuremath{\le}{M}_{H}\ensuremath{\le}150\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}$. The observed (expected) limit for ${M}_{H}=125\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}$ is 7.1 (5.1) times the SM cross section.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
