Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Societe de Transport de Laval (STL) surprised its users in June 2001 by becoming the first Canadian public transport company to guarantee the quality of its services. The company that has 650 employees and 220 buses, formally entitled its 60,000 daily passengers to claim a refund in the event of any of the following: bus service more than 7 minutes behind schedule; impolite driver behavior; unclean interior of transport vehicle; incorrect information; and if STL takes more than five days to respond to a request or a complaint. The three reasons to make this commitment to service quality were given as follows: a last chance for quality; a way to accelerate quality procedures; and a tool designed to make service quality noticeable. STL is expected to release the results achieved in terms of punctuality since the introduction of the Quality Guarantee.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
