Abstract
The centre is a full-size, non-public plot of land measuring about 3 hectare. One quarter of it is meant for giving instruction concerning “slow” traffic. Developments went fast when the gates were open; the described users came, new, other users came, new activities were discovered, more people were needed to organize everything. In June 1988 some municipal officials came to the centre to take a look at the system of guiding blind people. Accidental there was a cane for visually handicapped and a wheelchair. The officials were asked to take place in the wheelchair and to blind themselves for a while. In this way they were dependent on the provisions and could experience what that means. The expectations for the NTTC are great; especially the enlightment-aspect has become more and more important. Municipal authorities use the know how, achieved in the NTTC more and more consequently. The emination is growing quickly and meets imitation.
