Abstract
Au cours de l'annee 2004, un pont doit etre construit sur l'autoroute 20 au-dessus de la riviere Henri dans la municipalite de Val-Alain. L'objectif etabli pour ce projet, en terme de durabilite du pont, est d'obtenir une duree de service de 150 ans avec possibilite de remplacement de la dalle une fois dans la vie du pont. Pour ce faire, des concepts et des materiaux developpes au cours des dernieres annees et appliques a plus ou moins grande echelle au Quebec ou ailleurs en Amerique du Nord seront utilises. Ce pont peut etre considere comme le prototype des ponts qui seront construits dans un futur rapproche par le ministere des Transports du Quebec. Cet article presentera plus en details les differentes hypotheses de conception et les caracteristiques techniques (materiaux, details, couts estimes, etc.) de ce pont qui devraient permettre de repondre a l'objectif audacieux de ce projet soit une duree de service de 150 ans.
