L’article décrit les modalités d’élaboration, de validation et de mise à jour des normes ISO. Le rôle et le statut du Canada auprès des instances décisionnelles des normes ISO sont également expliqués. Les travaux du Canada sur l’élaboration d’indicateurs de performance opérationnelle et de mesures de la performance des services et des ressources électroniques sont présentés. Certaines mesures de performance proposées par la nouvelle norme ISO font l’objet d’une description plus détaillée.
