?Es solo un fenomeno fugaz o la penultima revolucion del pop-rock? El juez tiempo dira. ?Es posible ser una banda de culto y lograr un exito planetario? Arcade Fire quiere responder que si. El grupo fue portada de Time (edicion canadiense) el 4 de abril de 2005. La revista los consideraba ?responsables de situar la musica canadiense en el mapa?. Pero Arcade Fire es mucho mas que una chincheta roja clavada sobre la ciudad de Montreal: quiza sirva, si, para senalar la latitud y la longitud de su lugar de origen, pero es ademas un fenomeno que posee profundidad, altura, densidad. Es un fenomeno que atrae a las masas y las conduce por el camino de su musica y sus conciertos. Por un camino que termina en el deseo de volverlos a escuchar una vez mas.
