Abstract
This text presents the results of a program conducted in the Montrgie in the last 5 years to reduce the sale of alcohol to youths under 18 years of age. (Montrgie is a region in southwestern Quebec with a surface area of 11,072 square kilometres and a population of 1,324,799 inhabitants living in about 200 municipalities.) After a constant decline in the alcohol sales level since 1997, a significant increase was recorded in summer 2001. These results raise questions and lead us to redefine directions, taking into account the context of consumption. (A) For the covering abstract of the conference, see ITRD Abstract No. E201067.
