Abstract

Depuis la parution de l’article pionnier de DIXIT en 1978, la théorie des équilibres avec rationnement en économie ouverte s’est développée en essayant d’apporter des réponses aux interrogations macroéconomiques actuelles. Après avoir donné une vision d’ensemble de ces travaux et présenté les principaux résultats concernant l’impact d’un choc pétrolier et d’une hausse du taux d’intérêt étranger, l’article met l’accent sur la politique économique en économie ouverte. L’influence des instruments traditionnels (politiques monétaire et budgétaire) puis des instruments typiquement externes (politique de change et politique commerciale) sur le revenu et la Balance courante sont successivement examinés. Le problème de l’affectation des instruments (à la MUNDELL ou à la SWAN) est rediscuté au travers des résultats des principaux travaux de la théorie du déséquilibre en économie ouverte.
