Abstract
Dans ce court exposé, nous vous ferons part d'une expérience collective, vécue sur le territoire du CLSC de Matane, par une équipe de personnes âgées qui ont réussi, après beaucoup de difficultés et après un long cheminement, avec le concours de quelques intervenants du milieu, à briser les effets d'une mise à la retraite souvent prématurée et à se doter d'un service essentiel à leurs yeux : un lieu de rencontre régional où ensemble elles pourraient continuer à bâtir, à se développer, à soutenir les plus faibles, bref à se mettre au service de leur collectivité et à aimer la vie.
