Abstract
北米の大学おいて近年, 「クリティカル・シンキング」と呼ばれる授業が開講されている。筆者は, カナダのオタワ大学(University of Ottawa)において「クリティカル・シンキング」の授業のティーチング・アシスタントを務めた経験があるので, その経験をもとに, 「クリティカル・シンキング」の位置づけや授業の行われ方について, 筆者の印象を交えながら, 簡単に紹介したい。以下の事情は, 北米の大学における「クリティカル・シンキング」一般に必ずしも当てはまるものではないと思われるが, 日本に「クリティカル・シンキング」を導入する際の参考になれば幸いである。
