Abstract
Objective: to assess the knowledge, attitudes, access, and confidence of graduate students in clinical areas of dentistry concerning Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) in Brazil and Canada, using the KACE instrument (Evidence-Based Practice Knowledge, Attitudes, Access, and Confidence Evaluation). Methodology: Students from postgraduate programs in dentistry in clinical areas in Brazil (35 programs) and Canada (8 programs) will be invited to answer an online questionnaire containing sociodemographic information and the KACE instrument. The data will be compared between students from Brazil and Canada; different clinical areas (dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, pediatrics, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, etc.); and the previous training in disciplines focused on EBP. SPSS software will be used for multivariate analysis at a significance level of 5%.
