Abstract
The perspectives of the IV Omsk historical readings devoted to the anniversary of doctor of historical sciences, professor of Dostoyevsky Omsk State University Yu. A. Sorokin are revealed. The conference took place at Dostoyevsky Omsk State University at the end of April, 2017. Authors of the most interesting reports which were heard at the plenary session and two sessions ("Urgent problems of national history" and "Questions of source study, document science and archive science") are named.
