Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Case Ricola; Who invented it? The Swiss family-run company Ricola has been producing and selling herb cough drops for almost a century using high-quality herbs grown in the Swiss mountains in over 50 countries around the world. Ricola cough drops offer temporary relief for sore throat, throat irritation, or coughing. According to the company, the cough drops combine Ricola`s secret blend of 10 Swiss herbs with a cherry syrup center to provide rapid relief from sore and irritated throats (www.ricola.com). Ricola, which was been named the most trusted Switzerland brand on several occasions, enjoys global recognition with its famous Riicolaa yodeling or Who invented it? ad. The export-orientated company has experienced positive business performance, especially in 2019 when it had above-average growth in the USA and Canada, due to increased market share. Thomas Meier, who took over as CEO in 2019, announced his commitment to "continue the business of the traditional company according to its strong values". With creative ideas and innovative developments to ensure continued global growth. However, recently the company had to use influencer marketing to increase its customer base due to 40% sales decline during the pandemic, as fewer people caught colds and flu.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
