Abstract
Presentado en un coloquio interdisciplinario con motivo de la integración en 2017 del Institut d'études religieuses en la Facultad de Letras y Ciencias de la Universidad de Montreal, este texto pretende ser un recordatorio muy amplio de algunos de los estrechos vínculos que han unido a la filosofía con la religión y la teología. En primer lugar, pone de relieve la deuda infinita, inmemorial y, en cierto sentido, dolorosa de la filosofía con la religión, que pensó y celebró la idea de orden y belleza en el mundo antes que ella, y luego la deuda de la teología y la religión mismas con la filosofía cuando intentaron expresar su mensaje de salvación en el lenguaje de la razón.
