As regulatory bodies such as the FDA, EMA, and Health Canada continue to evolve, we anticipate updates to standardize testing for these emerging innovations by late 2025, ensuring their safety and fostering global adoption (FDA, 2023; EMA, 2022; ICH, 2020). The application of AI and machine learning in predicting stability and optimizing 3D-printed PFS will drive advancements in safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability, shaping a safer, more sustainable future in prefilled syringe development.
