Abstract
Phytomyza sp. 1 (Fig. 217) Material examined. MASSACHUSETTS: Berkshire Co., Sheffield, 20.viii.2014, em. 5–9.iv.2014, C.S. Eiseman, ex Sium suave, #CSE1380, CNC384830, CNC384831 (2♀). Host. Apiaceae: Sium suave Walter. Leaf mine. (Fig. 217) Upper surface, whitish; entirely linear, but sometimes contorted to form a secondary blotch. Frass is in rather sparse grains. Puparium. Black; formed outside the mine; humped anteriorly and tapering posteriorly, similar to that of Phytomyza ziziae. Comments. The only previously known Nearctic Sium miner is an undescribed Canadian species (Lonsdale, unpublished data), which these females do not match. The only other known Sium miner is Phytomyza sii Hering, but this European species has a pale yellow frons and gena, while these females have an entirely dark brown head with a slightly paler whitish tint on the frons between the orbital plates and the gena excluding the ventral margin.
Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Full frame distilled prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; both teacher heads agree on what is shown here.
