<p>This dataset contains detailed cross-sectional data from the Black Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub’s National Quantitative Study. The study aims to provide a comprehensive, nationally representative snapshot of Canadian businesses, with a focus on Black entrepreneurship across all regions and an intersectional perspective. The dataset includes rich, granular information on various aspects of Black Canadian entrepreneurs and their enterprises. It covers business operations, detailing the types of businesses, their operational structures, and business models. Demographic information is provided, including the age, gender, education, and geographic distribution of Black Canadian entrepreneurs. The dataset also offers insights into the specific challenges faced by Black entrepreneurs, such as access to funding, market barriers, and systemic issues.
