This dataset were from a field experiment to examine assess how variation in clay content regulates in situ microbial necromass de composition and retention. The experiment consisted of nine treatments: either (a) with 13C15N-labelled bacterial necromass, (b) 13C15N-labelled fungal necromass, or (c) without necromass (controls were injected with water-only); each of which were applied to soils of three different clay contents (low, medium, and high). There are four items: the first is the R code , the second is data, the third is bacterial sequencing data, and the last is fungi sequencing data. All the methodological details can be found in the article.
