Abstract
Ce cas est basé sur des événements vécus au début de la pandémie de COVID-19. Kim Carter, professeure à la School of Business du Collège Conestoga, a dirigé un projet de collaboration pluri-institutionnelle, avec son homologue Marie Rutherford, du Collège Georgian. Plusieurs mois de préparation ont été nécessaires avant d’arriver à cette étape. Carter et Rutherford avaient prévu certains retards et enjeux, mais elles n’avaient cependant pas prévu une interruption soudaine du projet qui ferait dérailler leurs plans à un point tel que les ressources ne seraient pas prêtes à temps pour l’automne. La première réaction de Carter envers l’équipe a été la suivante : « Ce n’est que temporaire, on ne sera pas arrêtés indéfiniment. Faisons une pause et nous pourrons nous y remettre dans quelques semaines. » Cependant, plus le temps passait, plus il fallait se rendre à l’évidence que le retour à la « normale » n’était pas près d’arriver. Carter savait que l’édition de l’automne 2020 allait devoir se dérouler en ligne et que l’accès aux ressources numériques serait essentiel. Tout compte fait, Carter et Rutherford ont dû réévaluer le plan du projet et déterminer ce qui était possible, compte tenu des ressources limitées et des délais écourtés.
