La forêt pâturée soulève plusieurs enjeux importants aujourd’hui, tant sur les plans écologique, économique et social. Cette journée d’étude du Groupe d’histoire des forêts françaises propose d’examiner ces enjeux dans une démarche qui fait le lien entre passé et présent, en se concentrant sur la question des héritages et du renouveau contemporain de cette pratique. En examinant la façon dont la forêt pâturée s’est développée, transformée ou conservée au fil du temps, et en identifiant les éléments qui perdurent et ceux qui changent dans les paysages et les pratiques contemporaines, cette journée d’étude vise à enrichir notre compréhension du phénomène.
