Le forum international des jeunes chercheurs et professionnels en patrimoine culturel se tiendra les 27 et 28 septembre 2008 à Québec en amont de la seizième Assemblée générale de l’ICOMOS (29 septembre au 4 octobre). Ce forum aura pour problématique : « Penser et pratiquer l'esprit du lieu ». Organisé par l'Institut du patrimoine culturel de l'Université Laval (Québec, Canada) en collaboration avec ICOMOS Québec, il s’adresse aux jeunes chercheurs et professionnels de toutes disciplines (architecture, urbanisme, géographie, ethnologie, archéologie, histoire, arts et lettres, etc.) diplômés depuis moins de cinq ans et qui, par le biais de leurs activités de recherche et leur travail, s’intéressent au patrimoine. Il leur propose une réflexion sur la question de l’esprit du lieu dans ses rapports avec la construction mémorielle, la sauvegarde et la transmission du patrimoine.
