Abstract
Les 25 et 26 octobre prochain se tiendra à Montréal un événement sur le patrimoine des voies anciennes, terrestres ou fluviales qu’il ne faut pas manquer ! Les vieux chemins et les voies navigables historiques ont, au Québec, un vaste pouvoir évocateur. Les emprunter nous transporte, semble-t-il, dans un autre temps. Pourtant, malgré la place qu’ils occupent dans notre mémoire, on en connaît fort peu à leur propos, qu’il s’agisse de les définir comme objets patrimoniaux ou encore de caractériser leur apport au paysage. C’est pourquoi les journées d’échange, se veulent un moment de réflexion partagée entre chercheur·e·s universitaires, professionnel·le·s du patrimoine ainsi qu’acteurs/trices du patrimoine et de l’histoire locale. Elles seront l’occasion de faire le point sur les connaissances et projets, de dégager des pistes de recherche et de valorisation ainsi que de paver la voie à des collaborations éventuelles.
