Bureau of Economic Analysis. GDP - National: 1.1.5. Gross Domestic Product | Finance Line Item: Gross domestic product, 2009 - 2013. Data-Planet™ Statistical Datasets by Conquest Systems, Inc. Dataset-ID: 003-001-007 Dataset: GDP is the market value of goods and services produced by labor and property in the U.S., regardless of nationality; GDP replaced gross national product (GNP) as the primary measure of U.S. production in 1991. This measure of GDP is known as "nominal GDP," i.e. not adjusted for inflation. Advance estimates from the first month of the current quarter provide the first data from the previous quarter. Preliminary and final estimates from the second and third quarters of the current month, respectively, are estimates of the previous quarter based on more comprehensive and revised data. For example, the advance estimate from the first month of Q3 is the first estimate for Q2. The Q2 estimates will be revised preliminary and final estimates in the second and third months of Q3.
