Abstract
On voit, fig. 1, des Canadiens qui boucanent des Saumons: en A, il y en a un qui les lave, & en B d'autres en étendent sur un grillage de bois, sous lequel il y a du feu, pour les fumer & les dessécher. On voit à la figure 2 des Habitants du Nord, dans les petits bateaux qui leur serventà pêcher dans leurs rivières: les uns A, pagayent; & les autres B, rament. On a représenté, à la figure 3, différents bâtiments de construction, la plupart Ecossoise, qui servent pour le commerce du Saumon. Quelquefois ceux qui vont au Nord faire ce commerce en achètent de frais des naturels du Pays, & ils les salent en verd avec du sel qu'ils ont apporté dans leurs bâtiments.
